Welcome to all !!!!

I just want to spend few words to present myself and my team.
Well, i'm Cr45h, or Lorenzo, PLZ Team Manager's, and one of the main managers of this championship. With me, Mario Dallacurva, the main creator of the championship.

I'll follow the event as Race Director, and i'm the main administrator of GameServers, WebSite and Forum. So, if you have any kind of problem regarding these, please ask me, or simply leave a post in the forum.

My main objective is to make as more professional as I can this championship, and I hope you'll find it too.
That's why we've decided to include Safety Car as others little details, to try to improve the sensation of realism that, i think, everyone wants.
We're used to use TeamSpeak, to talk each other, of course in race conditions there're specific rules to apply, in order to avoid confusion. We would be happy if you/your team will join into, and if necessary, I can create sub-rooms to split each others and maintain a bit of silence... We'll see.

Talking about the championship: it's a GTR Championship, we'll do a race every 2 weeks, so you'll have time to train yourself. On the server there's Lapper online, so it will record every lap you do, and your best time. We've thought to a division into pools based on the best laps, so we'll have pools composed by 25 drivers, plus the Race Director. As you'll register to the WebSite, i'll add your LFS username to the Lapper config, so your time will be automatically recorded and you'll know immediately in which pool you are.

Once arrived to the Race Day, we'll do a 20 mins qualification, to fill the grid for the race. After that, the race will start with a Lag Lap, just to check that everyone's line is ok, and then the official start of the race. It'll be 1 hour long, and there'll be one mandatory pit stop in a defined time of the race. I mean that pitlane is opened only in a particular racetime, and all the drivers must pit in that time. Every pit out of it will not be considered as valid as "mandatory pit stop".
BTW, i'll post soon the complete rules of the season, so you can study it patiently.

I've to sorry for my poor english, I'll try to write and talk at the top of my possibilities. ;)

I hope you'll enjoy, and, of course, if you have suggestion to improve the championship any kind of comment, just let me know.

Official Rules
GTR International Championship, sponsored by Playerzone.it, wants to collect most of the international teams in a unique season. In this championship, our main objective is to be as near to the real races as possible, introducing particular modalities as you’ll read on Official Sporting Code.

In this championship there’ll be a division on pools, based on the best lap recorded into the main ICUP Server (Playerzone ICUP2009). In this server, there’re fast races (5-7 laps) in which the “Lapper” is activated, to record and automatically separate drivers into the pools. Only username of drivers who are correctly registered on main Icup event will be considered for the division. In every pool there’ll be a maximum of 25 drivers.

This division will be done on the two weeks prior to the race day (prequalify session).

On race day, there’ll be a 20 minutes official qualify, starting at 21.00 (GMT+1), to make the grid, and after the official start of the race at 21.30 (GMT+1). Driver who’ll not be online in time to qualify, but prior the race start, will join into the grid at the last position. During qualify session, teleport to pits is denied, and will result a penalty given by Race Director. The only things you can do is through F12 while doing a pit-stop, so, you can refil the fuel, change tyres, modify pressure or wings. No shift-p, so you can't re-enter into the garage and change the setup, so check before exit that the set you have is the correct one for qualify.

Race will be 1 hour long, with a mandatory pit stop in a predefined time of the race, to improve the strategy of various drivers/teams.

In every pool there’ll be a Race Director, who’ll supervise to the event. He has admin controls, and he will be the Safety Car Driver, in case of emergency. Plus, he will open and close the pit lane at a given time. Usually, the pit lane will be opened after 20’ of race start, and will be closed 20’ before the race end. During this period, drivers have the opportunity to do their pit stop. Once into the pits, they can refuel and repair the damages and they are even obliged to change all the tyres. This is the only oblige, and Race Director will check if it’s given or not.

Points

This will be the point table used for the Championship:

1° driver: 100 points
2° driver: 98 points
3° driver: 97 points

50° driver: 50 points

1 point will be added for the pole position.
3 points will be removed at the team if the driver forgets to inform the Organization about his absence at the race.
1 point will be added for fastest lap in race.
